My first gig supporting Spray went very well, there we loads of people from my home town Leicester there. It was great to see familiar faces 🙂
The second band on ‘Factory Acts’ unfortunately had to pull out last minute and Vieon stood in. This was good news for me as they were kind enough to let me use their projector and I was able to perform with my visual display again.
It is rather entertaining during Miss Perfect watching the crowd watching the video, as they grind at different parts of it.
Vieon were fantastic as usual and Spray were the loveliest people on and off stage. Jenny’s voice is beautiful x
Im really looking forward to catching up with them again in Manchester.
Wow! Synthetic City reloaded was an amazing event
As I was first on the bill I was there early and got to watch all the other amazing acts. It was so nice to meet talented, encouraging artists
This was the first time I played my new set, which includes songs from my new remix Album ‘Quasi-static’ It was also the first time I used my visual display – showing videos to the songs on the screen behind me
I played the video for ‘Miss Perfect ‘(LorD and Master Remix) for the first time at the gig, and it went down very well
I had a wonderful time playing Warwickshire Pride today.
Uniquely this event had a lady doing sign language onstage with me, I don’t envy her job having to work out what I was singing about on the fly like that!
So recently I was invited by Nature of Wires to perform at three of the Ohm from Ohm tour dates with them, performing their remix of ‘Don’t Wanna’
Nature of Wires – Actress and Bishop
The first date was at the Actress and Bishop is Birmingham in April. Other bands on the line up were The Fixion, Rodney Cromwell and Vieon. The bands alternated the line up each night, but the three nights I did, Nature of Wires were on 2nd.
My song was on 5th, after Time is Come.
Performing at Actress and Bishop
This was the first time I have fronted a band before. Normally I am onstage with just my laptop it took a bit of getting used to having Tim banging behind me .
Performing at The Islington, London
The other two dates were in May. First off at The Islington in London.
Next day was at The Tin Music and Arts in Coventry
At the end of the gig
I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I will be playing at Synthetic City 2018 Reloaded
I have been to several of these events and have been dying to play it so I’m delighted to be given the opportunity
The line up was announced on Sundays Johnny Normal show, where he played the new single – I Never Thought (43:40)
Fusion#1 on 25th March, ran by Imran Khan was an amazing night to raise money for the Children’s Cancer Wards at Nottingham University Hospital. This was the first fund raising event that I’ve been involved in as a performer and I very much welcomed to opportunity to get involved in such a great cause.
The Chameleon Arts Cafe was a great little venue to perform in,
Here’s some photos of all of the artist who performed on the day
Paz Alexander, Tori Sheard, Caroline McLavy, Lewis Hall and Jake Burns.
Luke Broughton, Ben Smith, Adi Chase and Warren Ireland.
You can find out more about the fundraising at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/imran-khan42
I had an amazing time last night doing a guest appearance with Nature of Wires at Actress and Bishop in Birmingham, the first night of the Ohm from Ohm tour.
I sang the fantastic ‘Don’t Wanna’ Remix
I hadn’t fronted a band before so it was a very different experience for me, but I loved it!! The line up of bands were all different and all excellent, I met some very talented and supportive people.
The Ohm from Ohm tour continues in May, I’m lucky enough to be able to do a repeat performance with them in Coventry and London
I’m very pleased to tell you that I will be appearing as ‘special guest’ on three dates on tour with Nature of Wires on their Ohm from Ohm Tour. I will be performing with them at Birmingham, London and Coventry
I will be singing the Nature of Wires remix of ‘I Don’t Wanna’ which will be on the forthcoming remix album.
Here’s a chance to have a listen to this amazing remix
I had a wonderful time playing Hampshire Pride today, it was such a lovely eclectic crowd having so much fun
